Cell Temperature
Cell temperature can currently be modelled using the PVsyst cell temperature model (Faiman model, includes wind speed dependency).
The cell temperature calculations are described in Cell Temperature, and are based on ambient temperature \(T_{\text{a}}(t)\) and incident light intensity amongst other factors, including wind speed in some models. As incident light intensity varies with the orientation of the rack on which any given module is located, we calculate the cell temperature for each rack individually. We will denote the modelled cell temperature for submodule \(j\) as \(T_{\text{c}}(j,t)\).
